The rumored OnePlus 5 looks like the iPhone 7 plus with dual cameras

Several OnePlus 5 renders surfaced yesterday, and now we have yet another one to share. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll be able to see the purple-colored OnePlus 5. This render is actually completely identical to the one that surfaced yesterday, well, aside from the paint job that is applied on the OnePlus 5. The black-colored OnePlus 5 popped up yesterday, and this is, allegedly, also one of the colors the OnePlus 5 will be available in once the company makes it available.

As you can see, this phone is made out of metal, and it sports a dual camera setup on the back, next to which lies a noise canceling microphone, and the phone’s LED flash sensor. The company’s branding is also present on the back of this handset, and a 3.5mm headphone jack seems to be placed on the bottom of the device, which is rather odd considering that one of OnePlus’ execs hinted that it will be placed on the top of the device. A Type-C USB port is located on the bottom of the phone as well, and so is the device’s loudspeaker. Now, if we take a look at the phone’s sides, you will notice that the power / lock key, and the phone’s alert slider are placed on the left, while the volume up, volume down buttons, and the device’s SIM tray are located on the right. This is rather weird, as a power / lock button is usually included on the right-hand side, not left, and the most reliable (seemingly official) render which surfaced yesterday sported a power / lock key on the right, not left. So, either OnePlus plans to release two different designs of the OnePlus 5, one of these two renders is fake.

Having said that, it’s worth noting that OnePlus confirmed that the phone will launch on June 20th. The company confirmed this yesterday, and finally put an end to all the release date rumors that were surfacing lately. The OnePlus 5 will probably sport a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) AMOLED display, along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and it will be fueled by the Snapdragon 835 64-bit octa-core SoC. OnePlus already confirmed that we’ll get a fullHD display on the device, and the SoC model had been confirmed as well. Android 7.1.1 Nougat will almost certainly come pre-installed on the device, along with the company’s OxygenOS skin.
